Plant Process Improvement:
MSR Coalescing technology can be used for many other purposes in chemical and industrial facilities. Some applications are:
Chemical Plant Process Improvement:
There are many processes in chemical processing facilities where a separation of droplets of oil or hydrocarbon chemicals from water or droplets of water from oil are used. Use MSR coalescing experience and technology to help improve efficiency in this separation, improve the process and improve profits.
Vegetable Oil separation:
Vegetable oils, like hydrocarbon oils, can be separated from water streams by the use of coalescing plates. Tests have shown very satisfactory results in the separation of corn oil from water and also orange oil from water.
Other vegetable oils such as canola oil can present environmental problems when present in water in large concentrations and can also be removed by MSR coalescing plates.
Metals processing facilities:
Metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous, usually arrive at processing facilities coated with oils either from the manufacturing process or for corrosion protection. In the processing stages these tramp oils are washed off of the metal and become both processing problems and environmental problems. Use MSR coalescing oil water separator technology to remove the tramp oils before they become a major problem.
Metals recycling facilities:
Recycling facilities often must wash the metals to be recycled to remove tramp oils and automotive recyclers must sometimes process the stormwater from their facilities to remove oil. MSR coalescing technology is an economical and reliable way to treat the water for oil removal.
Groundwater remediation:
Many groundwater remediation systems require removal of hydrocarbons spilled from oil service stations, refineries, pipelines, or other facilities. MSR coalescing plate separators can be used to remove almost all of the oil from water pumped out of the ground at minimal cost because there are no consumables to buy or be used up.
Other Services:
Almost any other place where oil must be separated from water MSR technologies can be used for separation.
